Our mission is to provide health programs and social services to the Latino community.

Our vision is to create a positive impact in the Latino community for a better quality of life.

Fundación Latinoamericana De Acción Social, Inc. (FLAS, INC.) Is a non-profit community based organization founded in 1994 by Ms. Elia Chinó for the purpose of providing HIV/AIDS prevention, education, information, out-reach, health education and advocacy services to all clients and/or families within the city of Houston and surrounding areas of Harris County.

As Executive Director at FLAS, INC. I have seen our agency develop and grow to become one of the leader Latino Organization with commitment, dedication, compassion and care for all those who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS in Houston providing with all necessary services to improve our clients overall quality of life. FLAS, INC. provides a wide range of services in a culturally sensitive appropriate atmosphere to all people living with HIV/AIDS and their families.

My dreams and hopes now, tomorrow and for the future is that all together we stop and end the spread of HIV/AIDS.
